Did you know that Chicago has a Percent for Art Ordinance? What that means is every construction project in Chicago has to provide 1.33 percent of the budgeted costs of the total construction costs to invest in the Public Art Program.
That means there are pieces of art spread all over Chicago, such as the Picasso in Daley Plaza, the Flamingo in Federal Plaza and the Bowman and Spearman on Michigan Ave but there is much more.
Here's a guide to the sculptures of the Chicago Art Ordinance put forth by the Department of Cultural Affairs with sculpture locations. We've listed the sculptures in the order you should view them based on location.
